Bellevue Rotary Haiti Relief Efforts
President Rich Herzberg
We're all learning of the devastation in Haiti from the recent earthquake and the very serious challenges being faced by the survivors. I've heard from a number of you asking how you can help.

Our Bellevue Rotary Foundation will accept donations from interested members. I'm mindful of the number of things we already ask you to support. Consequently, there is no expectation, nor will there be any "push" for donations. However, if you'd like to help, bring a check to Laurie Larson at our next meeting or mail it to Rotary Club of Bellevue, PO Box 523, Bellevue, WA 98009. Your check should be made payable to "Bellevue Rotary Foundation," with a notation of "Haiti relief." All funds collected will be disbursed to Rotary relief efforts in Haiti.

Separately, our World Community Service Committee is examining whether they can allocate any of their remaining funds to support this effort as well.

Thank you for your consideration.

BRC Mailing List Tip
All emails sent through the BRC Mailing List have [BRClist] in the beginning of the subject line. This is good to know if you would like to create a filter in your email application, e.g., if you would like all BRC Mailing List emails to go directly to a specific folder and bypass the inbox.

It also lets you easily identify BRC Mailing List emails from the rest of your email. BRC Mailing List emails go to all BRC members. When you reply to a BRC Mailing List email, it goes to the sender only. However, when you use Reply To All on a BRC Mailing List email, your reply goes to all BRC members, and that may not be what you want. Please be careful when you use Reply To All. Your reply may be of a personal nature or simply not be of concern to every other BRC member, which is probably true 99% of the time.

Use Reply To All judiciously when responding to a BRC Mailing List email.
