PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
I retired from Microsoft in 2000 after 17 years of service, ranging from program manager for Microsoft Access to general manager of the Microsoft Commercial Internet System.
COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS:
Ways & Means Education Appropriations Finance - Chair Information Systems Board
LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES:
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
Trustee, Bellevue Schools Foundation, which raised money for projects to improve the quality of education for students at Bellevue schools.
Steering Committee, Bellevue Quality Schools, the campaign to pass levies for the Bellevue School District in 2002.
There will be more Bellevue College student teams than anticipated participating in this year's Multicultural Consulting class, so we are in the market for a few Rotarians who are interested in acting as a Mentor to one of these teams. Mentors contribute a "real world" frame of reference to a team, as it provides consulting services to one of six local entities.
This process starts with a kick-off meeting on January 14th and culminates with final verbal presentations on March 16th. If you are interested, please contact Jim Hogue (Ph 425-455-387).
