Visit Nepal in 2009 … Feb 15th-Feb 28th As part of the experience of participating in this spectacular District-to-District project to benefit people in Nepal with disabilities, we are putting together another trip to Nepal in February, 2009! You’ll be visiting Rotary projects, having a "hands-on" volunteer experience and see the sights, sounds and tastes of this magical country. Quotes from 2008 trip participants: "This was an unforgettable trip shared with many like-minded individuals from the U.S., which allowed us to immerse ourselves in a vastly different culture and learn from the people so much less fortunate than us out there. We were able to see first hand the struggle of the "differently-abled" people of Nepal and to witness the great efforts Robert Rose has put into helping these people achieve an equal footing in a prejudiced society" ~ Angel, San Francisco RC “I went to Nepal. Nepal changed me!” ~ Laurie, Bellevue Rotary Club “Wonderful, uplifting experience for both my 10 year old daughter and myself. What a wealth of friends and memories we made!” ~ Gene and daughter, Sophie, Vashon RC “The highlight of the trip for me was staying with a local Rotarian in Katmandu even if the house was a bit chilly, the hospitality was warm and the Nepali tea delicious.” ~ Jan, West Seattle Rotary Club For more information please contact Robert Rose.
