Thank You for RYLA

The following note was received from LiseMarie Curda, daughter of BRC member Glen Curda, regarding her time at the RYLA International Conference.

Dear Rotarians of District 5030,

I would like to express my thanks to Rotary District 5030 for sending me to the RYLA International Conference in Helsingborg, Sweden. RYLA International was an incredible experience, and the friendships I made created connections from Texas to Turkey, from Sydney to Sri Lanka. My peers inspired me to continue to be a service-minded individual as I leave for college in the fall and to make a positive impact on my new community in Providence, Rhode Island.

Attending the Rotary International Convention in Copenhagen allowed me to discover how much good Rotary does all over the world, and I was very proud to be a part of the Rotary family!

RYLA is a fabulous program, and I am available until the end of August if any Rotary Club would like me to relate my experiences.

Many thanks from a future Rotarian,

LiseMarie Curda
