This Week, August 1:
Grant has assumed key leadership position in regional infrastructure and growth planning. He is the Chair of the Cascade Water Alliance, a consortium of eight East and South King County cities and water districts that supply water to over 300,000 residents and 22,000 businesses. He serves on the King County Growth Management Planning Council and the PSRC Growth Management Policy Board. As chair of the City of Bellevue's Construction Codes Advisory Committee, Grant worked hard to streamline the permitting process, improve delivery of inspections and other development services. Grant is a shareholder in the Lane Powell PC law firm where he chairs the firm's construction and real estate litigation practice group. He and his wife Kathy have lived in Bellevue since 1982 and have two teenage sons. KEN GRAHAM MOVES ON
Ken has been the CEO of Overlake Hospital and is leaving to take a similar position El Camino Hospital in his hometown of Mountain View, CA. The following note was received from LiseMarie Curda, daughter of BRC member Glen Curda, regarding her time at the RYLA International Conference.
100% ROTARY ATTENDANCE At the end of 2005-06 Rotary year (ending June 30, 2006), 39 BRC members had chalked up perfect 100% attendance. Pictured below are 21 of those members who were in attendance at Tuesday’s meeting.
