Camp Goodtimes Carnival, June 29

Bellevue Rotary will again bring the best day of the whole summer to Camp Goodtimes on Vashon Island. Save Thursday, June 29th, for this fun event. We are expecting 140 kids with cancer, on or off treatment, and have arranged to rent carnival games for this day.

Take the 10:20AM Fauntleroy/Vashon Ferry. If you can, share rides from the North lot at Lincoln Park at 10:00AM. The carnival is over at 4:30PM. Return at 5:00PM or a little later if you stop for pizza at the Rotary Happy Hour at Rock Island Pizza on Vashon Island.

The theme this year is “Out of this World,” Star Wars/Star Trek. Contact Charlotte Ellis to sign up for a game today, or let us assign you where you are most needed.

EVERY GAME NEEDS 2-4 ADULTS IN CHARGE

Big Games, Rented Inflatables:

• Skywalker Bounce Arena - Ross, Jessica, and Haley Jacobson

• Yoda’s Dunk Tank — kids dunk; we don't get too wet.

• Robo Surfer — New!

• Saturn Sumo Wrestlers — a dults help kids get out of inflatable suits; a good job for Rotarians who have beeen going to the gym.

• Spock’s Big Slide.

• Rocket Science Roller racers — New!

Rotary booths (add more if you have an idea for us):

• Jedi Squirt guns - The Ryder Team

• Galactic Golf - Gail & Bruce Romero

• Princess Leia’s Jelly Bean Guess - Sam & Karen Esayian

• Boots Into Space - Elaine Heller

• Next Generation Electric Basketball

• Space Station Prize Room - Andy & Mary Mirkovich

• Comet’s Cotton Candy

Driving directions to Camp Burton on the South End of Vashon, assignment confirmation, and the what-to-bring list will be emailed to everyone early in June. Questions? Contact Charlotte Ellis.
