Again this year, some 600+ guests, corporate and civic leaders, socially active philanthropists and community volunteers will gather for an exciting opportunity to support the Bellevue Rotary Club in its efforts to build goodwill in the community with it's annual dinner and auction, this year benefiting Eastside Baby Corner.
Eastside Baby Corner gives kids what they need to thrive. They do this by providing basic necessities for children so that EBC's partners — schools, social service agencies, food banks, hospitals —can help families become stable, safe, housed, fed and employed.
Relying almost exclusively on volunteers, EBC takes in donations of children's clothing and goods from the community, supplements the donations with purchases of baby food, formula, car seats, and diapers, and annually distributes over $4,300,000 worth of goods for kids from birth to age 12, directly, to nearly every agency serving families in East King County.
Founded by pediatric nurse practitioner Karen Ridlon in 1990, EBC helps more than 5,000 children each year.

Bellevue Rotary would like to give special recognition and thanks to American Family Insurance, our Title Sponsor for the 2010 Bellevue Rotary Auction.
ABOUT THE BELLEVUE ROTARY AUCTION The Bellevue Rotary Auction is an annual black tie event that is attended by approximately 600 Eastside business and community leaders. This year’s event, “Their future is in our hands,” is scheduled for Saturday, May 8, 2010, 5:30 pm, at the Meydenbauer Center, in Bellevue. Each year, a different beneficiary is selected to be the primary recipient of the funds raised at the auction. This year’s beneficiary is Eastside Baby Corner. |
